De Engelse taal – Why is English so funny?

We laten je in dit artikel zien waarom de Engelse taal soms tegenstrijdig lijkt. Grappig om te zien waarom iets soms op meerdere manieren uitgelegd kan worden.

De Engelse taal bevat vele woorden die op elkaar lijken en bijna hetzelfde klinken, maar iets anders betekenen. Maar daarnaast zijn er ook Engelse woorden die moeilijk lijken maar die vaak een eenvoudige vervanging hebben.

Kortom de Engelse taal kan soms vreemd overkomen.

• Why is baked pronounced baked and naked pronounced nak-ed.

• Ooit gehoord van dit woord?

  Why is the plural of ‘human’ not pronounced as ‘humen’?
